We’re excited to announce a new project that Gino’s East River North has been working on–our very own brewery! Our space at 500 N. LaSalle was the perfect place to make one of our dreams come to life, and we can’t wait to toast to some new, Chicago-based brews.
Some things you’ll need to know about our big reveal:
We’re set to open in October– you won’t have to wait very long to tap into our signature beers.
Everything on tap is designed to pair well with Gino’s East Famous Deep Dish Pizza and our other menu items; stay tuned for some dynamic food/drink combinations on the menu.
There are four beers kicking off our production, including a Black Rye IPA, Pale Ale, Belgian Whit and German Helles. We’re planning on rotating specialty and seasonal brews in addition to these.
All of our beers will be brewed onsite with to-go growlers available.
We hope to offer beer dinners: our beer paired with specific food items. Stay tuned for more information!
The man behind the madness is Kevin McMahon, who has been working tirelessly with our team to get the brewery off the ground. Kevin formerly worked at Abita Brewing and was most recently at Two Brothers. He’s from Elburn, IL.
No need to skip town to enjoy yourself during the long weekend. There’s plenty of fun stuff going on over the Labor Day holiday in Chicago, so don’t miss all of the action! As always, we’ll be serving up our famous Chicago-Style Deep Dish Pizza to tourists and residents alike all weekend long! If you’re in the River North Neighborhood, stop in to Gino’s East River North for some of our speciality deep dish. Near Printer’s Row? Head to Gino’s East South Loop and grab a craft beer from our sports bar.
We’re enjoying the last few days of summer, and so should you. Here are some of the top events in Chicago this weekend. Enjoy!

Help us kick off Chicago Craft Beer Week 2014 at Gino’s East River North! We’ll be knocking back a few of our favorite craft brews starting May 15 through May 25, and you’re not going to want to miss it! But seriously, what’s better than your favorite local ales paired with Gino’s East deep dish Chicago-style pizza? We can’t think of anything that beats pizza and beer!
Craft Beer Week Events
Join us at Gino’s East River North for beer tasting and meet the brewer sessions on three different nights. We’ve got a breakdown of what you can expect at our newest Gino’s location:
May 19-Two Brothers Flight Pairing and Meet the Brewer
Stop by on Monday after work to meet the Brewer from Two Brother’s Brewing Co. located in Warrenville, IL. Owned by Jim and Jason Ebel, these guys know how to make a mean microbrew. It must be in the family blood, because their business is 100 percent family owned. The meet and greet starts at 6 p.m. We’ll also be offering mini pizzas with a flight of Ebel’s Weiss, Domaine DuPage and Northwind Imperial Stout all day for $10.
May 20-Aleman-Meet the Brewer and Beer Tasting
It’s hammer time at Gino’s East River North. At 6 p.m. on May 20, stop by our shop to meet the Aleman and have some complimentary snacks while we taste “The Hammer”. What is The Hammer, you ask? It’s a collaboration between two Midwestern craft beer companies–O’so Brewing Company and Taphouse along with Chicago’s own Aleman Brewing. You don’t want to miss this.
May 22-Local Option Meet the Brewer
We’re bringing the Local Option to you on May 22. At 6 p.m. join us for a brewer meetup with Alexi-the man behind the madness at this Lincoln Park brewpub. Alexi will be giving out Local Option Swag (skulls, anyone?) and we’ll be supplying Voku Hila to quench your thirst.
Gino’s East River North Specials
Can’t make it to any of our Chicago Craft Beer Week events? Don’t worry. We’ll have $4 pints of The Hammer all week and of course our delicious Deep Dish Nachos and Meaty Legend Deep Dish Pizza. Stop in and enjoy a pint with us!
