Help Us Feed our Heroes

Over the last few weeks we have been working hard to help feed our health care workers, police departments, firefighters and other first responders in our community. At the beginning of this pandemic we began by offering our first responders and essential personnel major discounts on their carryout and delivery orders, but we know we can do more.

Help us do more!

Starting today Gino’s East will be making meal kits for our frontline heroes here in the city. Help us by donating as little as $5 to provide meals for healthcare workers and other essential workers.

Since early March, we have been working very closely with essential workers to find out how we can help. We have created meal kit options with healthy and lighter options, including salads, pastas, sandwiches and more. These kits will make sure that minimal contact is needed between workers, while still providing a delicious and sustaining meal. Each donation will allow us to create a meal kit that will help feed hospital staff.

Who is a Hero?

A hero to us is anyone at the frontlines including:

  • Medical personnel working with patients

  • Security guards making sure hospitals and other facilities are secure

  • First Responders ensuring that our community remains safe and cared for

  • School officials and caregivers providing meals to their students

  • Janitors and cleaning crews sanitizing hospitals and workplaces

We know times are hard, but if we all work together we can offer a bit of relief to those working on the frontlines. Donate as little or as much as you want. Every little bit helps!

How Do I Donate?

Currently we are taking donations with every carryout / takeout order placed. Purchase a meal and opt to donate $5, $10, $15 or $20. Your donation will go directly towards creating meal kits that will be delivered to a different frontline organization each week.

Unfortunately we cannot offer this donation option with third party delivery options like GrubHub or Doordash.

Thank you for your continued support!
